Last week I spent in Orahovica in On Arrival training for new EVS volunteers in Croatia. I learned a lot of new things such as project management and how to handle difficult situations with ease. Also I met other volunteers living in Croatia and learned about their life and daily habits in Croatia. It was nice to have people around you who are in a similar situation as a new comer in a foreign country. We also did a project in Orahovica for the local youth and I met more Croatians who were more than happy to share information about their community and country.
We did also take a look around Orahovica and we climbed to a hill to see ruins of a castle on the hill (Ed Sheeran fans where you at?) From the hill you could see all the way to Hungary! To conclude, it was an interesting trip! See you in the next post! Sanni
