Greetings! It's time to look what happened in November. In Žitnik we had a short term EVS project that lasted two weeks but unfortunately I had to leave to Orahovica for On Arrival training period on the second week so I wasn't there full time. Anyhow, the days that I was there were really good and again other volunteers from other countries, loved them. In this project the volunteers did more work among the villagers and other locals from the area and as staff members we were there also. But as the first week came to an end the volunteers had four free days to spend where ever they wanted so me and Olivera (other volunteer from our company as you may know) also decided to travel around. Our fist destination was Zadar in the coast. We took a morning bus there on Thursday and spent the night in a hostel. On Friday we hitchhiked about 5 hours to Split but I think the journey is more important than the destination (at least in this case). We saw a lot of places that we didn't plan to see but that's the beauty of hitchhiking. In Split we decided to save money and we couchsurfed in a Erasmus students apartment. The next morning we took a morning bus again to Plitvice lakes and roamed around there. It's a beautiful place, if you have a chance go and visit it!
See you in the next post! Sanni
